Paris Weekend Getaway – Mon Petit Week-end a Paris – Until We Meet Again

A little week-end get away in Beautiful Paris is always a pleasure – city of life, love and charm. I love this beautiful city, and whenever I feel like having a little change of scenery I like to cross over the channel – just what I have been doing a lot recently. Every time I visit Paris I discover something new and exciting, I don’t; think I will ever get bored with this beautiful city.

I felt like writing this little message, one may call it a review but a little thank you of appreciation goes a long way.  A Huge thank you as I would like to quote one of the floor Managers, Sharmili Camiah for looking after us and making our stay enjoyable.

My husband and I have stayed at Le Méridien Etoile few times and every time we have been really impressed with the service we have received. Located in the 17th Arrondissment, right in front of the Paris Convention Centre and just a few minutes from the iconic towers of Champs Elysées & Eiffel Tower.

This hotel is the perfect location for both business travellers and holiday makers. Recently renovated this hotel has clean contemporary decors throughout, which gives an air of space and light throughout. Whenever I chose a hotel I like to make sure that I do get value for my money i.e. comfort, good service with a smile and the location has to be right.

Le Méridien Etoile although situated right in the heart of Paris also provide you with a private courtyard where one can enjoy breakfast, coffee or even an evening drink away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We have had the privileged to have access to the Club Lounge where one can have breakfast in a more private setting overlooking the Eiffel Tower from the terrace. Throughout the day club members can access the lounge/bar and grab drinks and nibble until late in the evening. For those who want to relax after their evening meal, a good selection of cheese and wine is available.

As a thank you gesture we have always had room service with a welcome bottle of champagne with canapes and delicious macaroons.

Evening View from my bedroom

For me that really set off the mini break with a smile. With a backdrop of the Eiffel Tower that can be seen from the bedroom window, how can one not be thankful for being spoilt.

To wake up seeing the Tower and before going to bed seeing the illuminated “Dame de Fer” is sheer bliss.
